Croissant Bread Pudding Recipe

This recipe is great for the sweet tooth folks and will be a crowd pleaser!

  • 6 croissants
  • 1-2 cups Fruits of the
  • Forest dairy snack
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups full cream milk
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • Seeds of 1 vanilla pod
  • ½ cup butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup double thick cream
  • Seeds of 1 vanilla pod

How To Make Croissant Bread Pudding

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Spray a rectangular casserole dish with spray & cook.
  2. Pour the Fruits of the forest into the sliced croissants and cut the croissants into bite size cubes. Layer them in the prepared dish.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Pour it over the bread gently pressing the bread down into the mixture.
  4. Let the mixture rest for about 30 minutes so the bread can soak up the custard.
  5. Bake for 40 minutes or until the top is browned and the pudding is set. Let the pudding rest for 15 minutes before cutting.
  6. Make the vanilla sauce and pour over the pudding.
