Full House Masala Steak Sandwich
Leftover steak was meant for this full house sandwich!

Serves: 4

Cooking time: 45 minutes
Ingredients:
- 800g leftover steak, cut into strips
- 3 Tbsp oil
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3-4 curry leaves
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 2 Tbsp Masala
- 1 Tbsp tomato paste
- salt & pepper
- Handful of fresh coriander
- To serve:
- 8 slices white bread, toasted
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- Lettuce
- 1 cup grated cheese or a few cheese slices
- Sauce of your choice
- 4 eggs, fried
How To Make Full House Masala Steak Sandwich
- Heat oil in a large pan, add in onions and cook until the onions are translucent, then add in curry leaves, green pepper, garlic and ginger.
- Allow this to cook for about 3 minutes, then add in spices, tomatoes paste and cook until fragrant, add in a splash of water if needed.
- Cook for about 5 minutes then stir in leftover steak, top with fresh coriander and cook further for about 2 – 3 minutes.
- To assemble the sandwich, spread a generous amount of your favourite sauce onto each slice of bread, then top with masala steak, fried egg, cheese sliced, lettuce, tomato and lastly top with another slice of toasted bread.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
