Fully Loaded Hashbrowns

  • 4-6 potato rostis/hashbrowns
  • 1 cup gouda cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 cup cooked bacon bits
  • Handful chives, chopped

How To Make Fully Loaded Hashbrowns

  2. Preheat the oven to 180C and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Arrange the hashbrowns on the baking tray and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. In the meantime, in a small bowl combine the sour cream and half the chives. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  5. When the hashbrowns are cooked, remove from the oven and top each with cheese.
  6. Return to the oven for 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
  7. Once melted, transfer the hashbrowns to a plate, top with spoonfuls of the sour cream mixture, sprinkle over bacon bits and finish with fresh chives.
