Grilled Peaches with Spiced Almond Crumble and Clover Custard

There’s no such thing as too much Clover custard with this recipe!

Ingredients:

  • For the almond spiced crumble:
  • 180g cups almond flour
  • 80g butter, chilled & cubed
  • 80g brown sugar
  • ½ cup almonds
  • ½ tsp cardamom
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • 1 Tbsp orange zest
  • pinch of salt
  • 6 peaches, pitted and cut into quarters.
  • To serve:
  • Clover Custard
  • whipped cream
  • fresh mint

How To Make Grilled Peaches with Spiced Almond Crumble

  1. For the almond spiced crumble: Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Line a baking tray with baking paper and set aside.
  3. Place all the ingredients into a food processor and blitz until the mixture comes together, the mixture should resemble a crumbly texture.
  4. Place onto a lined baking tray, place into the oven and bake for 15 – 20 minutes. Once the crumble is ready, remove it from the oven and allow it to cool down.
  5. For the grilled peaches: Heat a griddle pan over medium heat, then place the peaches into the pan and grill for 1 minute on each side, then remove from the pan and set aside.
  6. Place grilled peaches in a bowl or serving glass, pour over a generous amount of Clover Custard, spoon over some spiced almond crumble and top with whipped cream, garnish with fresh mint and enjoy!
