Mocha Cake Pops

Jacobs Cadbury Mocha make these cake pops irresistible!

Serves: 4 – 6
Preparation time: 30 minutes
Cooking time: 40 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 6 store-bought chocolate muffins/ cupcakes
  • ½ cup of brewed Jacobs Cadbury Mocha
  • ¼ cup of chocolate buttercream
  • ¼ cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup white chocolate chips
  • 2 Tbsp oil coconut oil

How To Make Mocha Cake Pops

  1. Add the chocolate muffins into a large mixing bowl and crumble into fine crumbs.
  2. In a separate bowl combine the Jacobs Cadbury Mocha and chocolate buttercream until well combined, then combine this mixture with crumbs and mix until it forms a dough-like consistency.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper, chill the balls in the refrigerator for 20 – 30 minutes to firm up.
  4. Add the chocolate and 1 Tablespoon of coconut oil into separate bowls, then place into the microwave and heat, stirring every 30 seconds until the chocolate is smooth and melted.
  5. Dip the tip of a lollipop stick into the melted chocolate, then insert it into the cake balls, repeat with the remaining cake balls.
  6. Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate, then place it back onto the lined baking tray.
  7. Sprinkle each cake pop with chocolate sprinkles, cocoa powder or gold leaf.
