  • 2 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of yeast
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 1.5 cup of mozzarella cheese
  • 1.5 cup of cheddar cheese

How To Make Turkish Cheese Pide

  1. Mix yeast, sugar, and milk in a large cup. Set aside
  2. In a large bowl, add flour, salt, olive oil and the yeast mixture.
  3. Mix using the Spatula or Wooden Spoon
  4. Continue Kneading the dough using your hand until it becomes elastic and fluffy.
  5. Cover with towel or plate and leave it for 1 hour to 1 ½ hour to help the dough grow in size.
  6. Divide your bowl of dough into 4 pieces
  7. Roll out the dough into an oval shape
  8. Add mozzarella and cheddar cheese to the top – leaving some space along the edges
  9. Close the edges of the dough, leaving the cheese exposed
  10. Place on baking tray in 200C preheated oven
  11. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until crust is golden
